    A sample from Slàinte Mhath
I have so far shied away from this, mainly because of the plastic bottle and the low ABV.
Far from as "bad" as I expected, actually quite OK as a careless sipper.
    But I don't think I really need a bottle.
    • Nose
      81 81
      Somewhat generic, but pleasing nose.
Sweet on apples and a tang of orange peel.
      Caramel milk chocolate.
      A bit of cinnamon.
    • Taste
      79 79
Some sweetness, but not as much as anticipated.
As well as a surprising level of spice for 40%, I guess because it's Rye.
      A herbal bitterness.
    • Finish
      78 78
The drying spicy herbs linger quite long, but I'm not a huge fan of the bitterness it leaves.
