About me

I was served my first single malt in 1994, a Laphroaig 10yo, and was sold even before it reached my tounge.

I like to have my taste challenged by a peaty Islay, to savoure a GlenDronach and to relax with an Auchentoshan.

I buy my whisky to drink it, never as an investment, and I enjoy it the most when I can share it with good friends. (and I have some kind of fetish for miniature bottles...)

Refering to "scholars" I notice I tend to rate my dram a few points higher, probably because I got a lower ceiling. I rearly spend more than £100 on a single bottle.
But it can't be that far off, as I also notice I'm hovering around the average score here on WB, some a little above, some a little below.
