About Mortlach

Mortlach, founded in 1823, was the first licensed distillery in Dufftown and played a foundational role in establishing the area as a whisky hub. Known for its rich and weighty character, Mortlach owes much of its profile to a unique and intricate distillation method often described as “2.81 times distilled.”
