Whyte & Mackay

Whyte & Mackay is a Scotch whisky company founded in Glasgow in 1844 by James Whyte and Charles Mackay. It is best known for its blended Scotch whiskies under the Whyte & Mackay brand, as well as its ownership of several single malt distilleries including Dalmore, Jura, Fettercairn, and Tamnavulin. Over the years, the company has changed ownership multiple times and is today part of Emperador Inc., a Philippine drinks group. Whyte & Mackay operates both as a producer of its own blends and as the managing company for its portfolio of distilleries.
