Wm. Teacher & Sons Ltd. is a historic Scotch whisky blending company founded in Glasgow in the 19th century. It is best known for creating Teacher’s Highland Cream, a blend launched in the 1880s with a strong malt component, traditionally anchored by Ardmore. The company grew rapidly in the 20th century, expanding its production and export capacity before becoming part of Allied Distillers and later Beam Suntory. While no longer operating independently, the Teacher’s brand remains in global distribution under its original name.
