  1. Los_Noobos scored this whisky 76 points Expert Senior

A well-balanced vatting. As a beginner's whisky, it's certainly quite alright, and otherwise it's good for what it is and still reasonably priced. But unfortunately, it's also a good example of a typical soulless Diageo product, focused purely on profit maximization with minimal quality – and not on the whisky connoisseur.
    • Nose
      78 78
Sweet and brightly fruity, dominated by bourbon and citrus notes. I can't really detect any sherry influence on the nose.
    • Taste
      74 74
Smooth and gentle on the palate, again very fruity in texture, now underscored with subtle sherry notes and a touch of spice. But unfortunately, it's also a bit thin.
    • Finish
      75 75
A pleasantly fruity and spicy finish, but it doesn't last too long.
