Whisky Reviews for Amrut Intermediate
2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.25 points
Car tire abrasion, smoked fish, oil, very light peat smoke. These aromas are not intrusive, but discreet and mix with orange peel, tangerine, oily Rangpur lime. Even without water wonderfully complex. Opens with water strongly in the width, no more smoke. Dry cake, spices, cloves, cinnamon. Smoked fish lingers in the background, marinade with herbs and Organgenschale. With further addition of water comes a fruity licorice note.
Lemon oiliness and spices. With water a pleasantly spicy sharpness between ginger and pepper. The sherry is dry and strong, without being overbearing and too sweet.
Undiluted, it stimulates the back palate with dry ripe citrus, which lasts medium-long. Spicy sharpness with water.
