A typical sherry cavalan. Intense fruit and woody aromas start a veritable firework of flavors, despite its (probably) young age, the Kavalan convinced on full line and looks much older and mature. A great part, I like it very much!
    • Nose
Rusty and deep dark, the Kavalan shines in the glass. On the glass wall, after swirling, an oily and tough streak has formed from which slowly dissolve some syrupy drops and flow into the glass as if in slow motion. Just this sight makes my heart beat faster and promises the finest sherry enjoyment! Dark berries and grapes stand out clumsily from the premium snifter, intense roasting aromas and spicy, tart wood elements mingle with the dark sherry aroma. Dried orange slices hang on a string and swing in the evening sun, hot chocolate stands on the wooden table and steams to itself. From the next table, intense espresso air blows over, roasted almonds and roasted nuts are within reach. Dark fruit and wood notes zealously compete, my salivation is massively stimulated, greedily I wait for the first sip!
    • Taste
Dark and intense sherry aroma hits the palate with full force. Wooden sharpness spreads immediately on the tongue and a sip of cold espresso flows down the tongue into the throat. Dried raisins and dates mix again with old and overripe oranges, the espresso aroma is intensified and exudes its subtle bitter aroma. Solid chocolate mixes with fresh almonds and hazelnuts, slowly changing the light chocolate into dark dark chocolate. Dark caramel burns in a pot standing on the stove and intensive forest honey drips into the bowl of nuts and almonds. The 54% alcohol content is harmoniously integrated harmoniously, slowly filling the entire palate with a plump warmth and a small pinch of pepper spread evenly in the mouth. Slowly the fruity note goes out and tart, dry wood tones dominate the taste.
    • Finish
Herb and subtly bitter, the taste passes into the finish. The chubby heat still glows in the mouth, the pepper is intense and fires the tongue properly in the finish. Wood sharpness mixes with espresso and chocolate, the roasted almonds come back. The intense mixture of dark sherry aromas and old, spicy wood will be remembered for a long time and will never fade away.
