  1. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

This too is positively old-fashioned. There is no such thing anymore. That is not necessarily always perfect, because it twists every now and then, but overall a whisky that you just have to love in its special way, because you can hardly find anything like that anymore. Since it also tastes really good, a really exciting pleasure.
    • Nose
Ripe, honey, yellow fruits, a little dusty oak. Intense, becomes sweeter over time, already very harmonious, sweet nose with a few old-fashioned, musty notes, slightly waxy and velvety fruity.
    • Taste
nice mouthfeel, first the exciting fruit notes, which strangely come across as a bit musty, then comes the heat and the pepper of the malt and overwhelmed with a certain bitterness. You get used to it over time, but that little explosion still comes with every sip.
    • Finish
Honey, dried apricots, slightly tingling, but rather tart oak notes. A sticky, bittersweet fruitiness lasts a long time.
