Whisky Reviews for Isle of Jura 21-year-old

- Typical for sherry-bourbon holding pulling a rope. Cute aroma, not complex, but rather dense. The taste is level, but the aftertaste is bitter with oak. The age takes this whisky, but in general it is rather impersonal. Remembering such a whisky is difficult.
Pleasant, soft, sweet pastry with vanilla, apples and plums, dried fruits, pronounced bourbon, many apples, in particular in the form of baked apples with cinnamon, the background is salty salmon, cream, honey, citrus notes, sponge cake. Over time, it becomes noticeably hereditary. Not spitual
Delicious, juicy, citrus, fruit, pepper, apples, honey, candy "Marine pebbles".
Oak, pepper, knit, sherry, apple, candy, long, from the oak is bitter bitter.
- An old, mature Jura who has received his finish in Sherry Casks. A complex, interesting and delicious Top Malt!
soft sherry aromas, oranges, dark berries, honey, spicy oak;
very soft fruity onset, sweet sherry, honey, Bourbonsüsse, saliva-stimulating, a little oak, tasty, complex
long, soft, sweet finish; in the finish dark chocolate;
- Very nice fruity nose (apple orange cinnamon), wood (but maybe not enough for this age), sherry, which give way to a cereal granary atmosphere, and, progressively from a fresh nose to some very warm thing. The mouth, very slightly salty, is full, round, smoothed by time and dominated by tobacco, orange and wood "la Jura". I was expecting an explosion of wood compared to other expressions. I was disappointed from this point of view but without being frustrated because the other flavors are beautiful, simply. Enthusiasm 3/5
