Nose and initial taste explosion are absolutely astounding for an entry level. Spectacular beginning ends with a pretty average finish. Alcohol kind of sticks pout towards the end, cutting into some points for balance. An awesome entry level nevertheless.
Powerful, tropical fruits with a pinch of pepper. Fruity sweetness, with a hint of ripe-fruit vanilla. Yeasty note when shaken. Rather amazing for an entry level.
Clearly a Talisker, char and brine, fruitiness and malty bitter-sweetness coming through. Smokey oak but no peat. Nice and full, oily texture.
Brine and dark oak lingering. Bitter notes persevere, with some malty sweetness in the background. Less complex as the nose and first taste suggest. Dry finish.
