On the nose, intense fruit brewed (on the apple and orange!), Malt, spices, a fresh floral side then occurs, a little white chocolate, promising!
    • Nose
complicated nose, at first more on the "Alsatian" with sulfur, young malt and apricot (here cooked!), then it becomes floral, fresh, the obvious youth is put in the flat with a return of elaborate and complex scents, with wood, vanilla, fruits a little synthetic, sweet, easy to drink!
    • Taste
      sulfur, strong spices, product youth!
then intense malt, dried fruit and a little candied, a little iodine, it's more subtle than expected!

  2. lachaineduwhisky did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

Floral, fruity, malty and delicate, I find among others vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth, very fruity, supple and juicy, the spices are very well dosed until the final, vanilla with a little puff of sulfur at a given moment. With a skin of water, the nose is pastry, and the mouth, even more fruity. Every sip was more beautiful than the previous one!

    Enthusiasm 4/5

A great French whisky that does not have to shy away from the comparison to the Scots.
    • Nose
First, a deep grape sweetness, which is directly played by oak and a slight note of Nelkennote, orange peel, cotton candy, sugarcane, woody vanilla, a little youthful
    • Taste
Moderate onset, while very sweet, the spice comes on slowly and brings a slightly peppery mouthfeel
    • Finish
The clove and the oak spice dominate the overall light finish, medium long

This artisanal Breton whisky was distilled using live-flame stills and matured in ex-Sauternes casks. If you like your wine-matured drams with an interplay of sweet, herbal and dry notes – give it a try!
