Whisky Reviews for Springbank 18-year-old
9 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.57 points
- Beautiful fruity and warm finish. A very good malt!
Hard to identify what it smells like. Oak, sherry, banana?
But the taste now makes up for the initial uncertainty. Wow! How soft, round, warming that is! I would say the oak is dominant, underlined by the sherry influence, fruity, spicy.
- I appreciate the abundance of pears juice in this Springbank, not only the taste but also the mouthfeel seems to be full of pear juice. But other than that there's not much special or suprise in here maybe but the pears keep making me happy.
- Great 18yo whisky!
Sherry, caramel, raisins, vanilla, plums, salty seabreaze, peat-smoke.
Sherry, oak, caramel, spices, salt, dark-chocolate and peat.
Long and mouthfilling.
- Compared to the new label (ID 62831), this one has more power.
Mango, pineapple, caramel, honey, ginger, milk chocolate and gentle peat.
Mango, caramel, chocolate, peat, honey and chili pepper.
Milk chocolate, caramel, mango and peat.
