Thick and chewy. Very characterful. Lots of cask influence as well. What stands out most is it has a very intense lacquer, shoe polish note that is lactic. I’ve only had that in a few old drams. Not a bad thing, but it’s very unique! Stone fruits, cherry wood and it’s also a little fizzy on the tongue. Very cool, but not necessarily an extinct style. You can find similar profiles in some funky Ben Nevis or glen scotia’s.
I don’t get any Tropical fruits in here. Banana, apricot sure. My fill level was only ok -just below the shoulder
