  1. Kaleva scored this whisky 78 points Expert Senior

Quite ambiguous whisky, young and very malty (with rather unpleasant fusel oil aromas), very simple and straightforward palate but surprisingly pleasant aftertaste (after the malty wave fades). Quite reasonably priced and thus can be recommended for a purchase.
    • Nose
Smoky, rubbery, malty with fusel oil aromas, somewhat sweet, oatmeal, raisins, some vanilla, oak on the background
    • Taste
Medium-sweet, smoky, gingery, blackberry jam, porridge, barley, yeast
    • Finish
Rather long, juicy, malty, slightly ashy, marmalade notes, gentle oak

Very easy drinking for a good price.
    • Nose
A citrus vanilla in light peated moke. Some green apple and oranges.
    • Taste
Nicely soft peated and salty starter. Not very mouthfilling but easy sipping away. Warming and a good sweet and spicy combination with a more tart nutty maltiness, especially in the end.
    • Finish
Good medium finish; little salt and smoke.

  4. Bosi scored this whisky 80 points Specialist

This whisky really surprised me. This is how a NAS must taste: multi-faceted, a little young, but never arbitrary. Super Every Day Dram and PLV.
    • Nose
On salt, surprisingly, cucumber follows. Only now do sweet smoke flavors noticeable. In the background you can hear heather, marzipan and some orange.
    • Taste
The taste is at first sweet as milk chocolate, then smoky-maritime like kippers and later spicy with cinnamon and vanilla. A trail of bright fruits is also to taste. The whisky has a nice full body, but is somewhat metallic.
    • Finish
The finish is a bit flat with notes of pepper, salt and vanilla. The whisky has disappeared quickly.

During the veiling, the idea of having a very young representative of his guild in front of him seems to be in the air, but this must definitely be revised in the course of the tasting. This one definitely has some set barrels in it and does not just live on the distillery character. The overall concept is conclusive and fun.
    • Nose
Gentle but certain peat and wood smoke and vanilla, followed by clear and persistent citrus a la very sweet sugared lemon jelly and grapefruit, very soft oak, marshmallows, ripe apples, cinnamon and sparkling oak, sweet plum brandy, salted butter, honey and green Gali melon, banana, caramel removed, dried apricots, flint traces
    • Taste
soft and slightly sweet, vanilla, white oak, a good dose of peat smoke and wood ash, some caramel, peppery spice and cinnamon, subtle sherry and dark chocolate, apple, syrup and nutmeg, slightly bitter citrus notes, full-bodied
    • Finish
Smoke, vanilla, in addition the already well-known oak, nutty, salty, well spicy also after cinnamon, chocolaty with apple, hay and malt, altogether not particularly intensive for lasting (above all this fine wood smoke) and warming - a good conclusion

Nose: Lots of vanilla, cotton candy, oranges, youthful, smoky and STILL somewhat metallic. :, Sweet fruitiness, of course, is smoke, but not as well as expected, sparkling Again, the slightly metallic hint. No medical grade.
Finish: medium long and STILL stick some smoke on the palate.
