There is nothing subtle about this whisky, a solid sherry bomb with a savory edge to it. Longmorn matured on good/active sherry casks is always a winner for me. And this is no exception. It needs some time to open up as this one can be a bit sour at the start but that fades quick enough. A wee drop of water brings out the fruity tones but also accentuates the bitter side of this dram. All in all a mouthfilling, powerful and lush Longmorn.
