Bottle has been open for a few weeks now and was able to breathe.
When the bottle was freshly opened back then, the content was already a stunner; I'm hoping for a little bit more now.

Conclusion: The gentleman needs time and the taster patience. The oxidation did him good. Next time I'll try to get even more out of it with water (i.e. aromas, notes, etc.)
    • Nose
      93 93
When pouring into the glass, a spicy smoky note streamed out of the bottle.
In the glass: draws slow oily feet.
Maritime freshness (salty notes) mixed with smoky / ashy notes (these are very elegantly wrapped in the maritime freshness). The alcohol cools the nasal mucous membranes and somehow gives the impression of menthol.
Fresh sea air constantly wafts around the nose and repeatedly displaces hints of light sour / vinous notes and sour fruits such as green grapes, apples, etc. (to be felt very vaguely).
Perfume notes (fresh/tart), light citrus notes come over time. Hints of sweetness are always quickly replaced by the sour wine note. Smoke/ash completely lose their aromas over time, the sour wine note remains.
A nice interplay and definitely an elegant snooper.
    • Taste
      94 94
      Start: Sparkling peppery (alcohol 50%).
Smoky notes spread in the mouth.
Now comes the sweetness in full force. Gets very creamy/oily in the mouth. Fruity notes (grapes, apples).
The woody notes (very pleasant) dry the mucous membranes, followed by slightly smoky sweet/sour wine gums.
At the end come cocoa/coffee/chocolate flavors.
    • Finish
      92 92
Long lasting - especially the wine gum flavors.
The mouth stays "dry" for a long time -> and asks for another sip ????????
