- I love it. But then again, I'm a sucker for most things Springbank :)
The triple distillation is clearly there in the nose and palate. It's more oily and less powerful than the regular Springbank expressions.
I like this slightly better than the newer 10yo bottlings.
Old dunnage warehouse earth, ripe yellow fruits, oranges, apricot, rust, some vanilla sweetness, quite Springbank-like
Oily, soft, sweet, vanilla, earth, ripe yellow fruit, some rusty chocolate
Medium long, only slightly bitter. Dark chocolate creeps to the back of the tongue leaving traces of honey dipped yellow fruit, and lightly peated, rusty earth throughout the mouth. Lovely
