  1. Thermidor scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

Perhaps not the best of Glen Moray? Simple and solid, but would not go on my to buy list.
    • Nose
Spirity at first, then whole wheelbarrows of butter and cream taffy, with a flowery underside. Water brings a wisp of smoke, but that's all.
    • Taste
At first, slightly off-putting with this rancid butter taste. A bit of water helps, but this combination of taffy, butter, and dry oak from a well used cask don't amount to that much. It's nice, but never really takes off.
    • Finish
Quiet, unassuming, and short except for that lingering butter.
