  1. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

A summer dram, the barrel has had little influence over the 32 years. Nevertheless a very compact, matured malt. Although very light and rather uncomplicated. I still like it because of the freshness.
    • Nose
Light and fruity, lemon, cloves, over time some fresh oak notes, some mint. With Waasser, the citrusy side gets even stronger.
    • Taste
Very sweet at first start, then many spices, oak, a small explosion in the mouth. With water, the whisky is a little sweeter.
    • Finish
In the finish lemon cake, cloves, a few tart oak notes, but more on fresh, light and summery.
