  1. lincolnimp scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

With water it gets much smoother and creamier. There is more honey and fruit in the mix now.

I really liked this, I found the change in sweetness on the palate entertaining to say the least.
    • Nose
Sweet, fruit and floral on orange and lime marmalades, fresh out the oven croissants, barley sugar and a little honey.
    • Taste
Quite hot initially with a burst of honey at the start and a little lemon which probably explain the slight bitterness.

There is constant battle between the fruity sweetness and the slightly drying bitterness.

The honey has faded but there is still enough honey and toffee in there and finally the sweetness wins over.
    • Finish
Quite long on slight honeyed sweetness.
