I live in England and my favourite distilleries are Brora, Balblair, Glenury Royal, Glenugie, Glenfarclas, and Highland Park. I do tend to try whisky from closed distilleries because it will not be available for much longer in my view
Whisky is for drinking not looking at in a bottle on a shelf but I can appreciate a good collection just like anyone else.
I am willing to do sample swaps. PM me if you want to see what I have available to swap . I am interested in swapping samples of similar quality, young or old. I am not interested in placing monetary values on samples all I ask is for a fair swap
Just message me and I will send you a list of what I have available. I have been collecting samples for around 15 years from bottles purchased. My list of open bottles is just part of what I have.
I am pretty flexible with my ratings but as a rough guide my points system as follows:-
At the moment I am on a fact finding mission to find the best blends from the 1950`s-1980`s, there is some quality out there but you need to do your homework.
