Producing such a readily available entry-level bottle at this price (and considering this quality) is, in my opinion, an underappreciated achievement. It's a bottle that gives just enough of a preview to showcase the company's skills without ever fully revealing them. Quite good!

    Price-performance ratio: Good, Very good!
Would I buy it again?: Yes!

Sea air, seashells. A hint of oysters. Hay bale. Feta cheese, funk. Cooked button mushrooms. Humidity. Cheese cellar. Aged cheddar. Maybe some baked beans. Wakame. A touch of vanilla underneath. There's enough intensity. Sourdough bread. Spoiled raspberries and lacto-fermented apricots. A slightly plasticky side over time. The crispy, bread-like side forms a nice backbone. Quite enjoyable.

Unlike the nose, Turba feels more like ash and charcoal than just funk. A slight industrial side with rust and grease. Lactic notes again. Fresh and fermented apricot. While not as intense as the nose, it could be more complex here. Obvious crispness and juicy green apple underneath. Although dilution is slightly noticeable, it doesn't detract from the enjoyment. A lemon poppy (and slightly vanilla) sponge cake. Low sweetness. Quite refreshing. Slightly below average body. Enjoyable.

The peat explodes here. A hint of menthol is added, eucalyptus. Nice malty notes, hay bales. For breading. Quickly transitions to fermented yellow fruits like apricots. Still funky. A hint of ash and a hint of sea salt. A medium-short finish. At a slightly below-medium intensity. It could be said that it's not as complex as the rest. I don't think it ever had a flaw, just shallower than the rest.
