Sweet. Marzipan. Notably nutty. Very heavy sherry.
Soft, smooth, juicy. Malty nuttiness. Liquorice.
A firm, assertive, hug. Enwrapping.
- (23/25) Balance is nice, just seems a little rough around the edges. A very nice sherried dram when you want something that really showcases sherry.
( 20/25) Leather, black tea leaves, dried fruits ( figs, raisins, prunes). To round it out a very nice array of baking spices and wood notes.
( 20/25) A lot of the baking spices referenced earlier, with a touch of diluted burnt sugar. A lot of figs and raisins, and perhaps a touch of coco powder.
( 19/25) Baking spicies, cinnamon, nutmeg, wood notes, and some dried golden raisins. Touch of sweetness ( mostly in burnt sugar notes)
