  1. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

An unusual whisky. Clear Jura associations, unobtrusively dry sherry cask. Sweet, but still spicy. Not everything is perfect in its place and it shows courage for half-baked aromas. But it's fun and tastes good too. Not for every day, but a discovery dram.
    • Nose
Interesting nose of sweet malt, citrus and some dusty mustiness. Old books with some musty cleaning rags. It also shows subtle sherry notes. Some plum, orange liqueur and almost a little Armagnac. Definitely not wrong.
    • Taste
Strong in the mouth, slightly sweet with some sherry fruit, fizzy sticks and a little tart, sparkling oak.
    • Finish
The finish shows more fizz, some yogurt, and sherry. plum wine. The oak shows up more clearly here. Spicy minty, tending towards bitter, but still OK. Tobacco and dry at the end.
