  1. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 80 points Connoisseur

He seems a bit more "mature", but certainly not too old. Like a tad better than the tweed, but still in the same region.
    • Nose
it has more mature, some yellow fruit and light honey in the nose, chocolate peanuts, sweet, soft.
    • Taste
Very similar to the tweed, but lighter. Malt and some fruit, then it will dry up.
    • Finish
dry, a little dalmore typical "sulfur sherry", but really only slight hints. Behind the nose beautiful sherry wood notes and becoming more dry.

  6. D3US scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

I have yet to taste the other three in this series, but this one is a very good start. A nice whisky, as one would expect from Dalmore.
    • Nose
Buttery and malty. Wet oak. Honey sweetness and chocolate. A little sea breeze and nice sherry.
    • Taste
Sweet chocolate and a nice creamy feel. Caramel, chewy and prickly oak. Pine or tree sap in the background. Slightly spiced.
    • Finish
Medium length. Rather dry on the gums. Gentle sweetness of honey but also vanilla. Sweet malt.

  7. Feusi did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

Produced by Dalmore with the object of raising up to £400k for a quartet of beautiful Scottish fishing rivers, like the rest of the Rivers Collection the Tay Dram has been produced from quality bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks and at least £4 per bottle sold will go to the Tay Foundation that protects and conserves the river.
