Whisky Reviews for Teaninich 10-year-old

- floral nose with apples and hay. Classic Speyside. Sweet and unfussy.
- From a totally pleasant scent full of grass and tea through a very relaxed vanilla flavor combined with quite a bit of spice. No miracle, no tragedy
- No, that's nothing.
he smells young and sprightly, in fact he only hears alcohol in his nose.
Something in the mouth, spicy notes, ... but nothing convinces.
- Good entry level dram from the past. It's close to the spirit, a good occasion to get to know the Teaninich character.
Young and youthful, you can say that! The Teaninich profile shows, with poached pear, apple, pastry dough, and grass. A little bit of wood and vanilla are also present. Not too complex, but nice.
Rather thin, with some more space for heavier notes of spice, wood and barley. The fruit and grass are clearly present too.
Moderate, again focussing on the fruit (this time also some orange zest), but with some nice vanilla and wood elements.
Clean, grassy, wood notes like wood-shavings. Chalky and tangerines. A good nose, but not very outspoken or deep layers to be found.
Again clean. Some tangerines, hint of toffee and caramel. Sweet and sour.
A bit creamy
Medium length. A bit dry. Wood driven finish. A bit bitter.
Don't pay over €50,-
Sober and decent as all F&F.
