PLV fits, young blend in Campbeltown style for a good 30 Öcken. Easy drinking at that. Pretty little Springbank, more Glen Scotia in flavor.
    • Nose
The Campbeltown Journey is fruity on the nose, youthful, but nice and creamy, completely smoke-free, but still with a hint of orange peel and herbs. Campbeltown Style.
    • Taste
Very mild in the mouth, herbs, some orange, becoming a little tart.
    • Finish
The finish is slightly mineral, a hint of smoke maybe, some herbs but also quite mild and just a hint of metal.

Honest 84. Immediately after the opening, somehow everything was closed and indistinct, it didn't smell like Campbelltown, it was 80-81.
Malt breathed, farted, a completely different thing, pleasant aroma ......, drinkable, not watery, it's good that it was not diluted to 40, pleasant light warming aftertaste.

A given sample from a friend.

Just a modernised young blended malt. It screams Glen Scotia. I wouldn't have bottled this. Probably 3yo.
    • Nose

Young, vanilla, some cream and butterscotch. Screams Glen Scotia. Young and restless though.
    • Taste
      79 79
Young, restless. Little sweet, little sour. Some vanilla and some cream.
    • Finish
      78 78
Short length. Sweet and sour, hint of sawdust, some toffee.

Since the opening, young and tough, I decided to set aside to breathe.

    20 21 21 21 83, - breathed a little, a whole bottle.
    21 20 20 21 82, - breathed thoroughly, sample.

Breathing is a completely different matter! Nice signature Scotia nose, soulful cellar, tart, malty taste, warming aftertaste, pretty good dram for a drink in the cool.

Note: it's easier to rate with a whole bottle than with a sample)

Well then. That's such a thing. Campbeltown and Hunter are both great on their own. In my opinion, we are dealing here with a mix of very young whiskeys. The good thing: It's clear Campbeltown, some grain, some fruit, some nuts. But also some young wood and maybe a bit grumpy?

With benevolence: If you give this whiskey time and have a little breath in it, it is a nice, rather uncomplicated drinking whiskey. After all. Worth all honors for the price :).
