It's a single grain lowland that you should keep in mind when rating. It is such an assessment. If you compare him to single malts, so to speak, the score would be smaller. But I think that this whiskey would not do it justice. So I rate it against the standards of a grain whiskey.

    Nose:
I have had my bottle for a long time and it has been emptied well.
Unfortunately, he has been gaining glue / varnish notes for some time that did not previously exist. Fortunately, they then warp and open the way to a beautiful number of aromas.
It is sweet and comes around the corner with lots of vanilla! It resembles a bourbon here.
Unsurprisingly, the barrel shaped this whiskey a lot. Wood, vanilla, caramel and maple syrup are there. Likewise beeswax or maybe honey. It is definitely oily and waxy with walnuts.

When you smell after the first sip, the malty, spicy cereals / cereal notes come through.

    Taste:
The first mouthfeel is soft and oily. Yes already creamy and creamy. There is a lot going on on the tongue. There are sweet, bitter and sour notes.
Sour fruits like apple, lemon, grapefruit and bitter almonds come through.
Again, the barrel comes with wood, resin, vanilla. In addition, ginger, clove, cocoa and anise.
Later green tea comes through which has been drawing too long. It is also buttery.
Nevertheless, it is generally rather straightforward. Maybe a little too easy. But definitely delicious.

    finish:
This should be a little longer. I like long exits. Bitter green tea and almonds are there. Somehow the notes come back up. Nice surprise that prolong the enjoyment a bit.

Water: Water is really good for this whiskey. Better than pure. Sweet marzipan with a high almond content is added. It also becomes malty and spicy in taste.
A strong salty note has now been added to the finish.

If you get involved and don't expect extensive single malt, you can experience a great pleasure with this whiskey.
There are fewer flavors, but they are strong.

Coconut, somehow quite interesting and delicious.
