  1. Koning scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

Fair whisky with some (refill) sherry influence. Intermediate between a light speysider and a sherry bomb. Not a great one, but it offers excellent value for a litre bottle nonetheless!
    • Nose
Fresh and young notes (mint, 'leafiness', apples) compete with more mature notes like milk chocolate, canned peaches and subdued spices. Also a hint of wine vinegar and old dusty oak.
    • Taste
Rather creamy with citrus fruits, apple cider, raisins and dried herbs and the slightest amount of smoke. Feels a bit fragile though.
    • Finish
Rather light and fresh spices (mint, pepper, garden herbs), tangerines and a bit of cacao. A drying finish with clear oak influence.
