    WITH WATER

Nose - I detect no change

Palate - Oh wow, its even creamier now on stewed fruit, rich dark chocolate and rich chocolate brownies.

    Finish - Medium, very smooth.

Believe this is a sherry heads dream, it is so rich and creamy, what a shame there were only 59 bottles.

From someone who is not a sherry head this is excellent.
    • Nose
Massive sherry, (oloroso?}  black currant, plump dark raisins, coffee notes, mocha.

      Rum & Raisin ice cream.
    • Taste
Bittersweet, plum, blood orange, balsamic, after a few mouthfuls its very creamy.

      There is a

    Exceptional quality.
    • Nose
A dignified sherry profile, without a big role for the traditional meatiness. It has some cocoa powder, coffee beans, dry sherry, gunpowder tea. Suddenly, a very earthy side of tobacco and mushrooms comes up. Then there is beeswax, and some cooling mint.
    • Taste
Oh my, this is wonderful stuff! A full explosion of tastes. Dates (Tunesian high quality style), raisins, humus, mushrooms, dunnage warehouse, creamy chocolate, apricot and mint.
    • Finish
Long and coating finish on dried fruit, rancio, gunpowder tea, cocao powder, coffee beans, and mint.

It is in good place with the famous Old & Rare The Platinum Selection. Only 59 bottles? I'm lucky to taste it from a sample. :)
    • Nose
Huge sherry, rum raisin, forrest fruits, spices and flowers
    • Taste
Bittersweet, creamy: blackberry, plum, black currant, walnut
    • Finish
      Long, bittersweet, creamy, spicy, woody

N: full sherry, dried fruits, spices, floral, fudge, pure chocolate and syrup
T: sweet and sourish candy, forest fruits - blackberries, (wal)nuts, some custard and pastry
F: medium with spices, wood smoke and custard
compared with Mortlach 1990 SV #6070 and Mortlach 1992-2009 CA 57,2%
    looks like an Aberlour A`bunadh
