The signet is certainly a high quality whisky, but I was a little disappointed.
Hardly any corners and edges. A bit too boring for me, especially for the price. I get a lot from UAs.

Delicious. It's cool, because you get a sense that this whisky really is composed. And what a job they've made!
    • Nose
Cacao, good quality vanilla, dried blackberries, pumpkin, sweet liquorice. And even a tiny, tiny hint of peat (I know that's not the case, but I can't help getting it)?
    • Taste
The same aromas comes through here. But the balance, waho! Sweet, red fruits and it's all just so delicate yet impactful.
    • Finish
A tiny bit short, but yet so nice. That fennel/liquorice notes comes again and really wraps it all up nicely.

    Nose:
This is good! Wine influence, sherry influence, raisins, dried red fruit but it is thick and with good layers of esters. When it is warmed up a bit, you get a nice dark chocolate note, cacao powder for making chocolate milk.

    Taste:
Very sweet, red fruit influence, then the very pure chocolate note. There is also a creamy coffee note here.
Then there are these red fruits again, like strawberries and cherries. There is also a little hint of tangerines.

    Body:
Rounded, but it could have been more oily.

    Finish:
Medium length. There are cigars, tobacco, chocolate and red fruit in here. It fades away rather quickly though.

    Price:
Rather expensive, but it is a high end whisky

    Presentation:
Very posh. The bottle is nice, but the packaging is over the top, it makes the liquid more expensive.

    Comments:
It is a very good Glenmorangie, A must try if you ask me.
