About Finch Whiskydestillerie

Founded in 1999, whisky is distilled since 2001 at Finch distillery in Nellingen. In 2012 a big pot still (3000 liters) with rectification column was installed. Before this Finch was a small scale operation with an annual output of approximately 300 LPA.

Finch only uses grain from their own fields, mainly wheat, spelt and barley.

In 2024 the distillery was moved from Am Berg 5, 72535 Heroldstatt to Hofsiedlung 31, 72535 Heroldstatt with the same distilling equipment.

The opening was at October 3rd. Due to efficiency improvements and better logistics the capacity will be increased by 20% to 120000 annually.
