Pronounced Loch-YOU Meaning Loch of the yew trees.

Loch Ewe is the smallest legal distillery in Scotland and is the first to be granted a private licence in 190 years. The licence had to be approved, due to a loophole in the law, but immediately after it had been issued, the loophole was closed to prevent anyone else from creating their own Scottish, illicit-sized distillery! Loch Ewe is the only distillery which makes whisky using 18th century methods.
