Hey there,
I’m Maltburger
from Hamburg… Germany.
I am specialized
in Glen Keith, my favorite Distillery. I’ve tried more than 100 different Glen
Keith Bottlings. I prefer three different Glen Keith styles. The GK’s from 1965
till 1973, the GK’s around 1992 and a few sherry GK’s between 1967 and 1971.
Most of the ‘92 Glen Keith are very fruity and easy drinkin stuff. Also some
nice bottlings in 1991! The Glen Keith in 1993 are not in same quality
like the 1992 bottlings, only a few pearls in this vintage. The Glen
Keith bottlings from 1995 till now are mostly mainstream.
The very old bottlings from Glen Keith actually getting very expensive. Most of
these older bottlings are excellent, the bourbon cask bottlings are smooth and
fruity with nice deepness, the sherry cask bottlings are the opposite , they
are sherry bombs, full loaded and wild, dark fruits, chocolate and sometimes a
nice easy smoke inside. Very special dark sherry bottlings, different to the
Strathisla bottlings, but also excellent.
If you have
any questions about Glen Keith or if you sympathize with my view, you can write
me a message.
Many
greetings
Maltburger
