About DanishDistilled:

Semiprofessional whisky connoiseur (like an alcoholic, but i hold the glass from below while using the term "nose" instead of "smell")

Rating scale:

100-97: God-level whiskies, where absolutely everything is perfect. This rating is for whiskies, that redefine your perception of whisky.

96-93: Exceptionally good whiskies, that are superior in almost every aspect.

92-90: Excellent, high quality whiskies that you come across every once in a while.

89-86: Great whiskies, and maybe the next addition to your collection.

85-82: Good whiskies, that are nice-to-have. Not astonishing, but still quite good.

81-76: Average whiskies, that might be worth tasting. You might recommend these to your beginner friends or buy a bottle if it's really cheap.

75-70: Below average with minor flaws. Drinkable but not enjoyable.

69-60: Bad, hard-to-drink whisky with serious flaws.

59-40: Is this even whisky? What on earth did they do to mess up this badly?

39-0: Call the health authorities.
