About Imperial Distillery

Imperial was a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery built in Carron in 1897, named to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. Designed by Charles Doig with distinctive red-brick and iron-frame construction, it had a tumultuous operating history until its final closure and demolition in 2013.
