About Mackinlay's

Mackinlay’s is a historic blended Scotch whisky brand dating back to the late 19th century, originally produced by Charles Mackinlay & Co. of Leith. Over its history, the brand became known for supplying whisky to polar expeditions, most famously to Sir Ernest Shackleton’s 1907 Antarctic expedition. Now owned by Whyte & Mackay, Mackinlay’s remains available as a blend, and the name has also been used for limited-edition recreations of the original Shackleton expedition whisky.
