For people who don't like peat, the nose is likely to put them off, although once you get into the dram it is surprisingly refined - esherry seems to disappear, leaving a dram that will have something to keep many interested. Well worth trying a dram or two.

Typical nose - plenty of peat, which comes cross as slightly medicinal with a maritime note - burnt seaweed. I'm unable to get any of the sherry cask on the nose.
-
The mouthfeel is pleasant, if a little thinneer than I was expecting. The taste opens with a peat, but it is more refined than the nose would suggest, althogh it does seem to hide the sherry. There is a slightly hint of bitterness towards the end.

Medium finish - the peat wanes gradually leaving a slightly bitter taste, althoiugh overall it is quite refined.
