Hakushu

Hakushu is a Japanese single malt whisky brand produced by Suntory at its mountain forest distillery nestled in the Japanese Alps. Established in 1973 as the company’s second malt site, the distillery draws on local spring water and the region’s cool, high-altitude climate to shape its maturation. The Hakushu brand was introduced in 1994 to expand Suntory’s single malt range, underscoring a commitment to applying traditional Scottish methods in a distinct Japanese setting.
