Glen Albyn is a Highland single malt whisky brand named after the former Glen Albyn Distillery in Inverness. Established in the 1840s, the distillery produced whisky for both blending and occasional single malt bottlings. It was acquired by Distillers Company Limited (DCL) in the 1970s and closed in 1983 during a period of industry consolidation, after which the site was demolished. Today, Glen Albyn survives only through rare independent and historic official bottlings.
