Banff

Banff is a single malt whisky brand named after the former Banff distillery on Scotland’s Moray Coast, which operated from 1824 until its closure in 1983. For much of its history, its spirit was destined for blends, and no official Banff bottlings appeared until the United Distillers’ Rare Malts Selection in 2004. Since then, limited standalone releases have surfaced through Diageo’s Special Releases and independent labels, offering rare examples of Banff’s character. Through these occasional expressions, the brand preserves the heritage of one of Scotland’s most famous ghost distilleries.
