Long John Distilleries was a Scotch whisky company and bottler best known for the Long John blended Scotch brand. Emerging from Seager Evans & Co. and formally established under the Long John name in the mid-20th century, the company bottled both blended and single malt Scotch whiskies. Its core blend combined malt and grain from across Scotland, with Tormore Distillery—built in the 1960s—serving as a principal malt source. Ownership of the company passed through Schenley, Whitbread, and Allied Domecq, before the Long John brand was acquired by Pernod Ricard, under which it continues today.
