Enjoyed my first whisk(e)y at the age of 22, as a foreign exchange student in Dublin.

Stuck to Irish whiskeys for about ten years, then gradually expanded my field of interest. I now enjoy all kinds of whisky: Scottish, Irish and 'world', peated/unpeated, sherry/bourbon/rum/wine/... casks, etc.

Some of the brands I enjoy very much are Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Imperial and Highland Park.

My interest nowadays goes much more to independent bottlings rather than official bottlings.

Always in for a good sample (or even bottle) swap!
