Enjoying malts since mid 90s. Favourite distilleries vary, but currently I particularly enjoy Ballechin, Ledaig, anything from Bruichladdich, and almost anything else from Islay. I Prefer cask strength, single cask bottlings and full-term maturation in a single cask, yet I do not stick strictly to these rules.

By the way, Gourt de Mautens is a highly recommendable wine-making estate near Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The winemaker's standard cuvée, the Gourt de Mautens rouge, is among the best I have had from southern Rhône so far. Just in case you're wondering.
