I enjoy a lot of different things that tickle the senses. From photography to wine, from music to coffee, from cooking to travel and of course Whisky (where for me the journey is just starting)

If you are reading my tasting notes and scores: I don't mind nor seriously check the color of the whisky, so don't see what I fill in as realistic. I factor in my subjective quality perception, nose, taste and aftertaste into the score. If I like it, it goes up a little, and vice versa. The same goes for presentation (alcohol perc, non chill filtered etc) and price. If I think some whisky I bought was way overpriced I will knock off a few points, if I think it's a bargain, I will add a point of two. But most of the score will be based on my quality perception of nose, taste and aftertaste, not in volume, but in balance, natural sweetness, complexity and pleasing ness plus duration of the aftertaste.

In short: the score reflects how much I recommend this whisky
