93 and above: Amazing, near perfection. 

90-92: Awesome stuff, the kind you really want to buy a back-up bottle of.

87-89: Very good whisky. Well priced 87-89 scorers are a must-have in the bar.

84-86: Pleasant, good quality whisky, if an 86 is cheap I might buy another.

80-83: Ok, but will not be purchased again.

76-79: Not for me, hints of off-putting notes, poor cask influence.

75 or below: Bad, often accompanied with off-putting notes, like sour cask, decay or sulfur.
