  1. 2ndSip Plus scored this whisky 77 points Connoisseur

Salty-maritime to cold-ashy phenolic smoke on the nose. Light fruity.
The taste is similar to the nose... overall, however, very little happens; no corners, no edges, somehow arbitrary.
[77 - 75 = above average -> works like this (for mixing)] except for the phenolic smoke, nothing happens here, almost boring; watery effect on the second sip.
    • Nose
phenolic smoke, maritime influenced (salt breeze, seaweed). Apple, pear as fruit are quite difficult to grasp as the smoke covers most of it.
Over time, the smoke will become more ashy (cold-ashy). Minimal seasoning in the background, nothing more.
    • Taste
extremely soft taste, again phenolic, maritime, salty. More seasoning and spices than in the nose. The fruit component is ironed over.
2nd Sip: again very, very soft. A bit of spice hits the tongue, then it gets watery.
    • Finish
Tobacco, ashy, leathery, some spice. Medium to long lasting smoke.
With a long delay: ignition pad DMTS... ok, that's not really my thing then.
