About Glenmorangie

Glenmorangie Distillery is situated in Tain, on the shores of the Dornoch Firth in Ross-shire. Established in 1843 by William Matheson on the site of McKenzie & Gallie's Morangie Brewery, it remained family-owned until the late 19th century. Now part of LVMH’s Moët Hennessy division, Glenmorangie is known for being the first distillery in Scotland to use steam to heat its stills. At 17 feet tall, Glenmorangie's stills are the tallest in Scotland.
