Hello,
Just checking if these are known bugs that are currently being worked on or if I need to collect more info for you.
1. Logout while looking at my collection and I am redirected to another users collection on logout. Weird since their collection/profile was visible, status of the bottles etc, but not the name.
2. Forum posts of 200-400 chars being trimmed to 100 chars on post with the last 100th char being a special I with a glave. Which I can confirm I did not write since I have little use for glaves.

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near `LIMIT 1` at line 1

Hey,

re 1. happens occasionally when you log out and sometimes you just end up there. I haven`t had it log me out automatically. BGut what you were looking at was the 0 user most likely:
http://www.whiskybase.com/collection.php?userviewid=0
re 2. That sounds like the ascii bug. The text input field everywhere on whiskybase can only deal with the most standard characters. If you happen to type french accents, german Umlaute, or anything other than . _ , : ;, it`ll cut whatever you were writing off and throws a hissy fit represented by the glave= ~.
Heaps of threads about that one on the forum too. So get used to typing it elsewhere, copy it to whiskybase, submit, and then go through whichever signs the text editor didn`t like and fix them one by one.
re 3. has been there for a while for me too. No idea what`s up with that.

Remember - whisky scores and impressions are highly subjective and situational by nature - so don't go and buy whisky according to someone else's taste...

Hoi,
Points number 1 and 3 is kinda the same problem. When you log off all the parameters are reset and for example the userview is set to 0 (like alectron explained). When you are logging off on a whisky page, the whiskyid is also reset. There is no whiskyid on that moment. and thats why there is an error. i have to learn how to program it more with sessions and cookies. But thats a long way to go for me.

Logout problem solved.

When you are on a distillery-, whisky- or userpage it`s now possible to log in or logout without the error-message.
